Just updated from iPhone 13 to iPhone 16. Placed the order on Wednesday, 2/26th, and received new phone on 2/27th. I promptly activated it with the easy to follow instructions. Was thrilled I was able to do it myself without having to go into the store. Everything transferred seamlessly. Now just waiting for new case from Amazon that should deliver Monday.
All good, right? Not quite so ... as I found out on Friday.
Friday, I had an 8:00am signing. I get in my car and start driving off only to discover I still had to pair phone with car. In a rush so couldn't take the time to do it right then.
Then, I get to my signing which required scan backs. Not a problem; I've got my trusty ScanSnap ix1500 with me. Except! Oops! Forgot that had to be paired with new phone also. My signer was kind of in a rush to get to work so unable to take the few minutes for pairing at signing location. Took everything back to my home office and scanned from my trusty 'ol Brother MFC L-5800DWT while I paired the ScanSnap. That pairing took all of maybe 2-3 minutes. The car pairing another 2 minutes.
Take this is a reminder: As we update our equipment, there's more to it than just a new piece of technology. To save time later, it may behoove us to take a couple of minutes to do a mental checklist of all the places/situations that equipment is used at/for.
