Because the fee is supposed to be just the fee they did that. That was before title employees and title companies realized they could start their own middle-man companies, signing services, and push down our fees while jacking up their "profits".
I even had one title employee forget what company she was supposed to be working for (title or the new supposedly separate SS company) when she called me. She kept going back and forth with the names. |
