I have the ScanSnap ix1500 and love it! I also have the ScanSnap carrying case with shoulder strap. Purchased both from Amazon several years ago.

I take in to signer's home and plug it into an outlet when we're done signing. It acts as its own Wi-Fi. All I need to operate it is my smartphone (I have an iPhone 16). The scanner's auto sheet feeder holds 50-60 pages at one time. When scan is complete, I use my phone to send PDFs or upload them to requester's portal.
