It's the best way to operate if you have the documents in sufficient time to check out the package, especially if you have questions.
Lately I'm finding packages are "thrown" together and not in the usual order they should arrive in. I've had documents missing, especially critical documents, like a note, or DOT, riders, etc.
I am deciding whether I want to continue to do Friday afternoon/evening signings, when borrowers are tired, the kids are cranky, traffic gridlock, etc. Our job is only partly complete after we leave the signing and get to the shipper in time, or the next day, especially with scan backs required. |
