Yet, some lenders do send it all on letter size (with some pages obviously in condensed print). So not all of them subscribe to the "that's just the way it is" theory.

Speaking of awkward splitting of pages, sometimes we will get half a notary block on one page and the other half (with the signature line) on another page. This forces us to use our own form and waste even more paper. This happens on legal-size paper as well as letter size, so it's not a matter of it happening because they tried to condense the print.
