This is far from a deep dive, but here are the responses I got from a couple of quickie searches (via DuckDuckGo Search Assist):

1. Q: "Does SEO work differently with different browsers?"
A: "Yes, SEO can be affected by different browsers because search engines use various browsers to crawl and index websites. If a site has compatibility issues on certain browsers, it may lead to incomplete indexing and negatively impact search rankings."

2. Q: "Does traffic on one browser affect other browsers?"
A: "Traffic on one browser does not directly affect the traffic on another browser, as each browser operates independently. However, if a user switches between browsers, their overall online behavior and patterns may be tracked by websites, which could lead to a combined analysis of their activity across different browsers."

Then it occurred to me that it's really the search engines that I should be looking at, so I posed another question: "Does traffic on one search engine affect other search engines?"

"Yes, traffic on one search engine can affect others, as users may prefer one platform over another based on their experiences and the results they receive. For example, if Google becomes more popular due to its features, it may draw users away from other search engines like Bing or Yahoo."

I don't think that directly addresses the question, except for this part: "Per DuckDuckGo, Google still has 93% of search engine traffic."

However, the results of that search brought up lots of other links that might be interesting, so I have a bit of reading ahead of me. Does anyone else who knows more about this than I do (which is probably a great many of you!) have insight on this? I'm just wondering if doing multiple searches with different search engines would make any difference.

In the meantime, I'll keep doing my daily search for Notary Rotary. (And may decide to also do other searches that bring up my personal website, too.)
