A friend of mine that does closings in the area, decided to take a peek and see who is our new competition and run their name with the Maryland Ins. Admin. to make sure they are licensed. There is a lady here that is not licensed. My friend emailed her and started small talk, asking her if she was busy and if she wanted any "overflow" when my friend wasn't available to do the signing. The notary replied that she would love the extra business and thanked my friend. My friend sent an email asking for a copy of her tpl and she replied that she doesn't have one but is "thinking" about getting one.
She has been reported to the MIA.
