| Very funny - I did have the same experience. Two years ago I was offered a cockatiel that the borrowers claim they were taking to the humane society the next day. He was whistling away during the signing and I commented on it. They offered him to me-cage and all! I wanted to make sure they had no regrets so I offered to call them the following day and pick him up if they still wanted to get rid of him. They did, so I did! He's a great bird-very friendly and smart! He can whistle the Mexican Hat Dance, Take Me out to the Ballgame, and a few other songs. |
