not in the state of Kentucky. Here is the link http://sos.ky.gov/adminservices/notaries/atlarge/.. I am a non resident but own property in Kentucky so I am commissioned as State at Large.... Requirement for Indiana http://www.in.gov/sos/business/notary/apply.html plus pay the $300.00 to sit through 2 days of classes to get your TPL before doing signings. Indiana requires you to be a legal resident unlike Kentucky.
