Do I wanna work my butt off and be poor, or just watch TV and be poor?
I understand the post, when there's not an abundance of work it's easy to second guess... but you did right. And it's not the kind of business where you can lose on one and there's give and take. Doing one for cheap will not buy you any loyalty or anything else that can make up for it. (It does with certain clients, but not those.)
Anyhow, I applaud your decision, and your airing it out and seeking feedback...
