According to the Stewart Underwriting Manual:

Common law dower (wife) and curtesy (husband) have been abolished in Ohio. However, statutory dower in favor of either spouse is set forth in Section 2103.02 O.R.C. Therefore, a spouse must join in the execution of all real property documents in Ohio.

Ohio is not a community property state.

Ohio does not have homestead laws.
