LOL I wish I could get it more often. I have only gotten $300 once and $225 about 5 times for rush jobs.
I too, do other notary work in which the fees are lower than for loan closings. I apologize for that comment coming out the way it did. There is a local notary that advertises loan closings for $85 - $100. She then complains to me about getting calls for $50, or lower, jobs. I think she is finally realizing that she needs to charge more to make it worth her time. She told me she is going to change her prices on her site. I think I might have been thinking of my conversations with her a little more than I realized when I typed that. Sorry again. |
