Wow, to the point and a perfect response Al.
Sadly, I blame this all on the way kids are brought up today. Everybody in Little League, Youth soccer, swimming (name the competitive sport) always earns a trophy! They do not know that there are winners and there are losers.
If you lost, it's probably because the winners cared more about winning.
Kids grow up expecting to get the trophy in the business world just because they participated.
Sorry folks, but there is no participation trophy in the business world, and if you come in second, you lost business. |
