If she "always goes by that" (and since that's how docs were drawn) then that's probably how she took title - not saying she was right in doing that but she did - however her ID contains her legal name of Alejandra - supposedly - probably based on docs she had to present to DMV when she obtained her license. It should be noted though - how do we know Alex isn't a brother/cousin/father? I realize Alejandra is the "spanish" translation of Alexandra...but just saying there's nothing concrete here Alex = Alejandra. Alex could possiby be *Alejandro" - and then we have a "hmmmm"....I'd be concerned here too.
To Ilene: you mean you can use an AKA affidavit for ID by just adding the incorrect name? Knowing you, Ilene, I don't think you meant that at all.
To Virginia: Auto registration? Really? I'm curious. Your handbook states "“satisfactory evidence” means the reliance on the presentation of a current, government-issued identification card bearing a photograph, signature or physical description and serial or identification number,,,". Since vehicle tags can be renewed online in PA (as here in FL) I'm not seeing where they'd bear a signature, nor do they bear a physical description or photo of the *person - the registration ID's the *vehicle* not the person...I'm curious how a vehicle registration is "satisfactory evidence". I know here in FL that would never fly.
