Re: To correct the record on past Prez/4th celebrations...

"The Dems were not excluded, Pelousy and Schitmore and all the rest chose not to attend. If all of the libs were excluded, tell me how Code Red showed up with their Baby Trump balloon."

No Dems were invited to the VIP area. Anyone could stand behind the fencing that was erected several hundred yards away, but their view was obstructed. And it's Code Pink, not Code Red.

"Yeah your right, we sent King George III a letter and he just rolled over and said OK! Our military had nothing to do with us gaining our independence."

July 4th is a commemoration of the day we DECLARED our independence. The bulk of the fighting came later, and actually gaining our Independence took until a treaty was signed in1783. I don't know of any other holiday that celebrates the start of a conflict rather than the victory that ends it, do you?

"Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Karl Schultz, Vice Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Bob Burke, Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen Wilson, incoming Army Vice Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Joseph Martin and Marine Corps, Lt. Gen. Eric Smith."

Trump wanted his Joint Chiefs there. None of the men you named are on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The only one of them who is the head of a military branch of service is Schultz, and the Coast Guard commandant is not a member of the Joint Chiefs. The entire Joint Chiefs declined to attend, with many of them opting to visit their troops in the field.

I'm not the one putting out half-truths. I said heads of the services - you named their subordinates.
