Congress has the right to see the unredacted report - every member of Congress has a top-secret clearance because they need it to do their job.
We, the people who actually pay the bills for all of this nonsense, do not have that right. While I'm not happy with the fact that the transparency Barr promised in his confirmation hearing hasn't happened, I believe that Congress needs to see the full report so that they can make a decision on what Mueller said and what Barr said he said - which, despite the redactions, seem to be two different things. |
