So tell me where in your own "extensive research" have you found that what I'm saying is incorrect?
My "extensive research" comes from first hand knowledge. I have actually fired both the m14 and the m16.
Also, we're not talking about M-16s or M-4s - we're talking about the civilian versions of those weapons - the AR-15 and similar models. They are designed to one thing - kill people as quickly as possible. They are not designed for hunting, they are not designed for target shooting or shooting at tin cans, they are the civilian version of a military weapon, and they are just as deadly.
I grew up with weapons. At 8 I had a BB gun. At 10, I had a 22. At 12, a 410 shotgun, at 14 a 16 gauge, and at 18, a 12 gauge. I shot many a tin can, targets and all sorts of little varmints on my uncles farm with that 22. Now, in your deep research, please compare the size of the bullet between a 22S, a 22L, a 22LR, and the projectile of the M16.
I'm waiting.
