POTUS tweeted today that "I hereby order" American manufacturing companies to find an alternative to China - to find other suppliers or to bring their manufacturing back to America.
"I hereby order"? Really? He doesn't have the authority to tell private companies how to run their business. He doesn't have the right to demand that they change their business model.
There's a word for that... you know, when the government asserts control over the means of production? I learned this back in high school... it's on the tip of my tongue... Oh, I remember now!
