It does not matter if she is Native American or not . . . what matters is that people are using this incident as an excuse to use what everyone knows is a racial slur. Rachel Dolezal claimed to be a black woman, and it was discovered that she was white. If people feel that it is okay to throw the Pocahontas term around so freely when it comes to Elizabeth Warren, wouldn't it be okay then to call Rachel Dolezal all those horrible words used to describe the race she claimed to be? The answer is no . . . no it would not be okay to call her those names, just like it is not okay to call Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas.
