infrastructure
Posted by Art_MD of MD on 4/7/21 11:24am Msg #78334
There is proposal to include high speed internet in the "infrastucture" definition.

As this forum includes people from all areas of the country, I'm curious if anyone use Dish for their service?
Is it high speed? Reliable?

Numbers found in several places...

80% of adults have HSI.
that leaves approx 66 million without.
note : 25% aged 65+ never go on line

so, say 55 million don't have HSI (note: even in city like San Jose, 10%+ don't have HSI)
say 3.5 people per household
so 16 million households without HSI

say its $500 to install a Dish (or equal)
that would be $8 Billion so everyone has HSI.

Anyone have idea how much is proposed for HSI in the "infrastructure" bill ???
