The NRCC is doing the same scammy thing
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 4/7/21 5:14pm Msg #78345
They are using Trump's name and his non-existent social media network to separate the suckers from their dollars. Trump told them weeks ago to stop using his name for fundraising, so either they're ignoring him or he's getting a piece of the action.

I checked the site mentioned in the article to verify it - the URL in the text message redirects to a page on winred.com, which is the Republican fundraising site.

The page has been changed slightly from the screenshots in the article. The box is still prechecked, but the verbiage is now this (verbatim - the first two lines are in bold type):

******
We need to know that we haven't lost you to the Radical Left. If you UNCHECK this box, we will have to tell Trump you're a DEFECTOR & sided with the Dems.

Check this box and we can win back the House and get Trump to run in 2024.

Make this a monthly recurring donation.
******

DEFECTOR? For not being willing to empty yout wallet?
