It's just out of control. What happened to PTA meetings (one on one with the teacher)? The parents are not setting examples here, and a free for all when in numbers. If they don't like how public schools are being taught, send the kid to private and pay for it. Public schools have a curriculum. In the grand scheme of things, anything can be contested from where we came from, the big bang theory to slavery. Does it matter? Has it affected me in any way? No.
I say bring back Drivers Ed, PE, and Shop and Home Ec classes, something that students can learn from and need to know in everyday life skills.
We are becoming a society of non-thinkers and trying to challenge the system just to open our mouths. Let teachers teach, let kids learn, and stop the nonsense. Parents, mask the kids when they move around in school, unmask when seated, simple. We have turned into a country of angry swarming bees recently not happy with anything, and it's sad. jmo |
