Will Charles soon gain control?
Posted by  Mike Goodey of CA on 9/8/22 12:32pm Msg #81694
Sad to hear that Queen Elizabeth II has taken seriously ill.
She is 91 and looks frail from what I've seen.
She is the longest reigning monarch in British history.
She has lived a full life. From what is being said this situation is very serious. Maybe she will recover and be able to handle duties, then again there is a time to let go.

I believe it was only last year that her husband, Prince Phillip, passed away.
Will Prince Charles take over if she becomes incapacitated?
Not sure of the sequence: Does Charles just take over then become crowned king when Elizabeth passes or will he be crowned before?
