Will Trump be a switch hitter?
Posted by PaigeTurner of AK on 2/4/23 2:49pm Msg #82433
Do you think he will turn into an Independent or another party if he doesn't get the Republican backing for the 2024 Presidential race?

Back in the 2015 Republican primaries, candidates were asked if they would pledge to endorse the Republican nominee for president and they would promise not to run an independent race against the Republican nominee. The only candidate that raised his hand Was Trump.

If he did turn Independent, it would probably be the first time in history that an Independent would actually be a contender. There are still a lot of Trump supporters out there to be recommended with.
