Re: Hard of think of winter, since it
Posted by Bear900/CA of CA on 9/3/18 11:45pm Msg #30557
We're in the 70's here, heading into our summer weather months which are Sept and Oct. I know, it's backwards from most people. The idea of planting now is to utilize the next two warm months to establish the Winter garden. It will then grow greens through next March.

It's cool to see my wife experience this first-hand. She loves going into the garden early winter mornings to gather veggies for whatever she desires. Less trips to the grocer and much healthier. She loves her garden yard and has her own set of improvements she's working on. She's starting to do her own alterations and I'm going with the flow. Our meals are not mainstream and it's been fun experimenting.
