Were you experiencing vision problems before you went for the exam and if so, what were they and what did you think was causing them (prior to the diagnosis)?
I ask because I had cataract surgery in both eyes about 10 years ago, and have recently developed what I THINK is a "secondary cataract" in one of them. That's something that can now be quickly treated in the initial ophthalmologist consultation in-office with a zap or two of a laser, and if that's the case it's not a big deal. Because of other medical issues and the treatment they required, I have not been able to deal with the vision problem yet. Fortunately, my current treatment is just about completed and I intend to get this vision thing resolved in the coming month. Just hope that what I think is going on is what is actually happening... |
