Possums -- properly, 'possums -- are marsupials. After birth they crawl into the pouch and latch onto a teat and don't let go till they're weaned. Sometimes there are more opossum opuppies than nipples, which may be the source of your obabies. That obviously would rarely be a problem for homo Sapiens, were we marsupials. |
