TX Governor announces steps to stop the hoarding
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 3/15/20 6:05pm Msg #31778
As of tomorrow, all grocery stores in TX have to limit their hours (no more 24-hour operations) and limit the number of items a customer can buy - no more grabbing all the toilet paper or bottled water on the shelf. Gov. Abbot stressed that there are plenty of food and supplies available - the limited hours (most will be open 7A-10P or 11P) will allow stores to re-stock their shelves overnight and clean the stores properly.

This is something other states should implement - distributors have plenty of food and supplies, but panic buying and hoarding are making it almost impossible for some people to get what they need.
