Yeah, I guess without any wiring and talking to Alexa ....
I don't like things that talk back, especially in the middle of the night when bride is asleep. It's bad enough that my SimpliSafe alarm talks to me when it goes on or off. But that's a good thing as it will notify me of an open door or window.
I did however carve a path of light just enough to walk through the house with a couple of simple outlet lights that come on when its dark. One comes on by motion only. I also changed a wall switch to a motion switch that controls an outlet with a lamp so when I walk into that room a light goes on. You can set a delay on the switch for it to turn off. Can also be turned off and on manually.
I also use a remote switch that works with an outlet adaptor to control another light.
Nothing worse then getting up in the middle of the night and stubbing your toe! |
