Intuit is working with ICs for home call support for tax season. No tax experience needed. There's a certification class being offered in a few weeks on an independent platform which caters to self-employed. In other words, if the company wishes to use your services, it will be as 1099 (through their Agency). I don't know how much time you have to commit - or whether it's a Weekly or monthly call average.
P.S. The platform (agency) vets & provides training to the independent contractor. I joined and tried out an Insurance Claims education path. It didn't cost anything but Time. There are mandatory zoom sessions 3x/week plus self-paced learning, assessments (aka, Quizzes!). I began earlier this month and have slowly plowed through the lessons. |
