Was a Reverse and wife had a stroke & very hard time signing her name, so hubby wrote 'her dates', she signed her 'really not legible, but pretty consistent' signature. They would not accept the dating--she had to do it. Poor lady was exhausted and near tears...and her handwriting degraded so much that I was afraid they wouldn't accept it/pay me.
It was a horrible experience for me & the signers. They even called LO, Lender, Title and explained/argued. But SHE MUST DATE was everyone's response. She did and the actual date (I'll never forget) was 6/16/2016 and every 6 in her written date looked more like an incomplete 0...little more than a C. I did get paid and hoped they were unhappy with it. |
