Posted by Erwin/CA at 10/27/2013 12:03:00 PM | Had two signings on Friday and Saturday. Friday's was the seller's package and Saturday's was the buyer's package. Instructions from title was do not print copies of docs for the seller or borrower. First page of each package was a sheet where it said that the title company was trying to be green and they would send a copy of the docs to the signers by e mail. Signers signed this page at the bottom agreeing to this. Both signings were one block apart and only one mile from my home. This was the first signing in over 1300 signings where I did not print copies for the borrowers or sellers. Have others come across this. I felt really funny not having a second copy available in case a mistake was made.

Posted by Erwin/CA at 9/7/2013 10:35:00 AM | Got a call for a "Single Document Signing" from an SS. When I got the "document" it was 26 pages and contained seven documents with three requiring notarizations. Asked why they said a single document and they said that any signing under 30 pages is considered a single document signing. My reply was silly me for assuming that single document signing ment a single document. They did raise the amount they paid me, but I thought this was strange.
