As of January 1, 2008, I ALWAYS utilize the new california acknowledgments and jurats per the CA law AB 886, Chapter 399.
When dropping off completed packages to the overnight courier of your choice, I ALWAYS take the package into the facility to obtain a receipt, this way the document package has been logged into the overnight carriers system (and it is now in their hands!)
(The only time this is not done is if only a drop box is available and no human drop off facility.)
