In March of 2013, I relocated to Florida. As there was no reciprocity for my 11+ years as a Licensed Title Producer in the State of MD, I accepted a position as a closer at a title company in Clearwater. One of their requirements was to also be proficient as a processor so as to be able to take a file from start to finish. I had always been a closer in the past, so this was an extremely enlightening experience. In addition to taking the 40-hr pre-licensing course (required to become a licensed agent in Florida), I not only processed and closed loans, but also handled all post-closing requirements. I realize that Florida is not a license-required state, but due to my considerable experience as a licensed agent in MD and my intention to be licensed in Florida in the near future, please take this into consideration when you need a quality closer. 

That being said, I will charge a minimum fee of $100 if the closing is within 10 miles. This is substantially less than I was paid in the State of MD, so please do not waste my time or your's by offering me less than that minimum fee. Be advised that the minimum fee is subject to change based on the scope of the job and distance I need to travel.
