has increased our allowable per notarization fee to $5 from .50 as of September 1st, 2013. I may be a bit late in posting this, but I did not find anything about it on a search first.

It is baby steps...but it is certainly better than the allowable .50 since...well....we thought the world was flat instead of round:-)

I had a Wells closing for a great title company...no issues there...but felt horrible when the docs did not arrive in time...... despite my begging last night and into this morning...so I regrettably had to turn it back because of my busy schedule today.

I always give courtesy call to the borrowers to let them know I am unable to come because their docs did not arrive on time, but they will be scheduling another closer as we speak to take care of you..... and come to find out from the borrower that the Well's rep beat me to it and told them the "notary" had car trouble and would not be able to come....never mentioned that as of 8am this morning title still had no approval or documents.

I told her gently, that number one: Notaries don't close loans, Professional Loan Document Signing Agents do; number two: There is no car trouble, Wells failed to get the docs out on time for "whatever" reason and that is why they need to find another closer. The borrower clearly understood....but I was a bit miffed at the fact that Wells tried to make this my issue when I was prepared to go as of 5am this morning!

Bad form for Wells Fargo.....own it, move heaven and earth to fix it for your customer....but don't blame me when you didn't put the tools in my hands on time to do the job in the first place. Typical EOM stuff....I am way to old and in this business far too long to be whining...but it just got under my skin today.....thanks for allowing me to vent in advance.......time to hit the road for the rest of the day.

Has anyone every done work for these guys? I can't seem to find anything on a search or in signing central on them. I got a call from them, but never received the confirmation. In the interim, it would be nice to know of anyone that has worked specifically for them.
