CA Sec'y of State/Omen?

It seems many signs (other than sign-ings) have reared up that I now take as omens in this new venture as CNSA. My Commission arrives from Sacto. folded in several places. Ironing it didn't flatten the creases. I hesitate to complain to the Post Office, though I'm ticked at the mail carrier. My Loan Signing Certificate arrives on a rainy day. You guessed it. Creased and folded. I'm beginning to think it's a sign. People tell me it's foolish and just call the post office to complain. Five minutes ago, my "fearless leader," CA Secretary of State. resigns under nefarious circumstances. Nice start to a new career.
