Fees as a percent?

Why don't we charge a certain percentage of what the title company charges?

So when we get the call to accept a signing we can say we charge blank percent of what the is being charged to the borrower.

Re: Fees as a percentage?

Try this again.

When we get a call to do a signing, we can say we charge 50% (or whatever) of what the borrower is paying?

Whaddya think?

Re: Fees as a percentage?

You're free to quote whatever fee you want. And the companies that hire us are free to tell us to do it their way or they'll hire somebody else. Which they most likely would if we didn't quote them a flat fee like everybody else in the industry charges.
