First signing next week_CA

I'm going on my first signing next week and I was told that I need to make up a bill for escrow in order to get paid. But shouldnt that get worked out before I accept the assignment? I give them all my information and they send me a check after the close of escrow right ?

Many companies ask that you provide them an invoice for your services. Not a big deal.

You know I asked once(on this forum)if I should make up my own invoice page and was told that I didnt need to. But I guess that depends on the company, right?
Also, how would I go about making an personal invoice page?
