I had an interesting email today...
From a lady wanting to get into the business...how to get started setting up. The crazy thing was that she was such a pro about it that she actually offered to pay me for my time if I would talk to her and tell her how I got started. That's pretty darn classy in my estimation.
Furthermore, she wrote me another email and said: I know that when you begin any business you have to do a pile of research, and some of it you have to pay for if you don't have time to spend getting the information for yourself.
She's in Texas, and I am going to give her a call tonight, and no...I'm not going to charge her, but I definitely appreciated her approach and professionalism.

You guys are all very kind, but I get as much as I give.
When I talk to someone about what I do, things come to mind that I don't usually think of. And, let's face it folks, the average person we interact with in real life really does not want to hear notary minutia. Unless I am talking to another SA I keep my notary prattle to a minimum.
So....Becca, did I understand you right? Are you looking for someone to mentor?
