This list is my own - some companies may have gone by the wayside. Others may have had better luck with sone that I didn't.

Cochran Investment Corp

Yeah, they don't pay very high fees, but they are very prompt about cutting checks once a week. One of the quickest paying companies I've worked for

Just goes to prove - take another persons no-no list as a guide - not gospel.
I had problems with Cochran. It may be that I in the the vast minority who have had problems with them (late pay)

Howy,

With all due respect, this issue has been visited before (actually various times). What I would suggest you do is do a search on this site; I would suggest using the phrase "no no" and also the word "avoid". I believe you will come up with various lists.

Next what I would suggest you do is compile a list yourself over time of those companies that are viewed negatively and those that are viewed positively.
