Re:How to get a tax number using SS4

Can anyone tell me where to mail the SS-4 I have looked on the form I have and there is no mailing address.

What is a good accounting program for Traveling Notaries to use?

Thank You.

There is a list of addresses at the following link:

http://www.irs.gov/file/article/0,,id=111138,00.html

You can also apply online and they will give you your EIN right then and there.

Thanks for your answer and the address I am sorry I am so late getting back to you but I had to go out for awhile after I posted the question.

Have a great weekend if I don't post or read anymore of your threads.

I have a Tracking System and Schedule C tracking workbook (both in Excel format) along with other tracking products available on my website. These are not accounting software programs but are excellent tools for the signing agent to track, analyze and reduce the end of year tax frenzy. I use both products specified above. For accouting programs you may want to check out Quickbooks, Microsoft Money for Business, or Peachtree.
