Suggestions in CA

Hi,

I just took the Notary exam today in California, and I'm planning to take the Loan signing Cert next month. My "real job" is less than secure these days, but right now I'm mostly looking for supplemental income with one kid off to college in a year.

I got a real kick out of reading all the posts. Sounds like a pretty supportive group here. Any hints, tips or suggestions for a newbie? What's the value/risk with a signing agency vs. knocking on doors with loan companies in your region?
