WHAT'S UP DOC AKA ACME NOTARY

WHY WOULD A SS CONTRACT YOU USING A DIFFRENT CO NAME. AND THEN IGNORE YOUR EMAIL REQUIESTING INFORMATION ON WHERE TO SEND THE INVOICE AND ASKING THEM FOR THEIR PAYMENT SCEDULE. GIVES ME A BAD FEELING.
I HAD DONE A SIGNING FOR WHAT'S UP DOC LAST YEAR. BUT HAD NEVER HEARD OF ACME NOTARY AND WAS QUIT SURPRISED TO FIND OUT THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME. I WILL NOT SAY HOW I FOUND OUT IN OPEN FORUM BUT THIS IS QUIT INTRESTING.
ANY COMMENTS?

Erna:

Just a little insight...

"What's up Doc?" Is Bugs Bunny's favorite line. Bugs Bunny is a Warner Bros. cartoon character.

"Acme" is a brand name used for lots of different things in the Warner Bros. cartoons.

I am sure someone here has had experience with Acme or What's Up Doc and will be able to direct you to a place to send an invoice.

What's wrong with typing in all caps? When I was in the Army back in the day we learned to type in all Caps we just locked the caps key on and type everything in all caps.

About Caps...

Hi Reggie,

About all caps...it's harder to read and it's considered a matter of forum etiquette not to use all caps...some think of it as yelling.

Brenda

Thank you for your response. I myself find it eaiser to read than lower case I guess It is because of my training in the Army. I did not consider it yellling then I guess things change.

Re: TURN OFF THE CAPS!!!

A fellow capper.. at last!
When i print as in handwrithing i use all capitals. I am definatly not a shouter and do not intend to ofend. But I seem to be getting told off about caps, discussing intl's ect. But that is the way of things. Some like to discuss others like to be critics.

Thank you Mark !
They did send me a conformation with a fee but it did not included any instructions on where to send my invoice. The address on the form is
Acme Notary
31735 Riverside Dr. C225
Lake Elsinore, CA 92530
I have a feeling that this is a P.0. Box
Only other information was email [e-mail address]
phnone number 951-678-9887. wich i called and left a message, but did not get a call back.
I just sent another e-mail this time addressed to acme aka whats up doc.
I will be surprised if i get an answear. But I will give them a chance before I contact the lender.

Update
Phone numbers provided by Mark for Whats up doc and Acme are no longer in service.
and the number i have 951-678-9887. You get an answearing machine and no call back.
NO wonder they are on a NO NO list.

I just left messages on the one phone line that I could get through to...the others #'s I had were disconnected and emails were returned as undeliverable. I tried depositing the check a 2nd time and it was returned for NSF and had a stamp on it saying not to try to redeposit!

After reading all the posts on ACME
If Bobby Johnson was the owner of What's Up Doc
But Acme is operated by his previouse employees.
Why dose Acma have the sam Fax # as What's Up Doc?
That indicates to me that What's Up Doc just opened under a new name.

Did a little bit of research... Brian, is a convicted felon. Stacee, his wife. Is the notary. And according to the Sec of State of Calif. She is also listed according to them as the owner of 'What's Up Doc'. Link to courts is posted on another message.
