I haven't had that ever, but there may be a problem someone is trying to correct...docs didn't show up on time, schedule changes....and they are calling you to help.

I often get calls on weekends well Saturdays. I have never received one on a sunday but did have a closing to complete on a sunday.

It's part of the territory and part of the job, especially around the mid- to end of the month. I think there can be any number of reasons for signing calls -- someone dropped the ball and a notary wasn't scheduled; they could be on some no-no list and the original notary canceled after accepting; ...

I do at least one almost every Saturday. I receive the docs on Friday and make my own time with the borrowers on Saturday. Never Sunday though.
