Collecting money

If the title Co and/or SS don't mention to you that you need to collect money how are you to know? Settlement statement lines 301 or 302. What if in that line is the total amount of the loan?

Line 300, I believe, that's what I thought. But I have been reading a lot of postings from people who say they had no idea that they were supposed to collect. I always lok at line 300 and if there is no money then I assume that nothing is due at the time of the signing.

Line 303 on the HUD-1.

Lines 1601 and 1604 on the HUD-1A. (1601 due FROM borrower. 1604 due TO borrower.)

A great resource for HUD related information is http://www.hudclips.org
