Grant Deed - Signing two different locations

I have a husband and ex-wife who I am signing a grant deed today. I tried to do a search for split signing but must not be hitting the key words. I am going to sign the ex-wife first which would include a notarization for her. Then I am suppose to go to him in another location. Because they are signing at different times and different locations, what do I do with his name on the grant deed? This is an acknowledgement deed. I was going to attach a loose acknowledgement certificate for him. Would this be correct? How should this be handled? Thanks for your help.

You would use two separate certificates. So yes, you are correct.
