I'm thinking of trying to fry an egg....
outside. It's 115 degrees on my porch. It's a dry heat though.

Only 106 here and it looks like a storm is blowing in. Love the summer rains.

I am in Tucson. It looks like the start of our "Monsoon" season. Of course it could just be more lightening strikes that start those darn wildfires.

I grew up in deep south Texas. We used to put an iron skillet out in the morning and fry an egg or 2 in the afternoon. After egg was cooked we would feed it to the dogs.

Re: dry heat though?
Dry Heat? You bet. And we love it. When I go back east and it is 99 and 98% humidity I just pop out in a sweat! And I never dry off until I get back to Arizona.

Re: dry heat though?
You got that right. I'm in the High Desert (Mojave), CA. When we go down the hill inland the humidity kills me. I feel like I'm melting. I can handle 15 degrees hotter in the dry heat.
