RIGHT HERE AT NOTARYROTARY!
At the top of this page, click on Notary Supplies and click your way to your bond! You'll need to select your state (California) from the drop down list, and click enter the store and you'll need to navigate to the bonds. Or call 1-877-349-6588! especially since you're running out of time!

Why would you be worrying about getting bonded when your commission is expiring? Or are you referring to the time lapsing to record your commision and bond?

If your commission is about to expire you need to take the 3-hour refresher course. That is why I suggested contacting the SOS ASAP. ;) (the SOS website lists acceptable testing vendors).

The 3 hour refresher course will not be a reality until 2009. All notaries must take the 6 hour course, which means those who take a course this year will the six hour, and won't have to renew until 2009 at which point they will take the 3 hour.

Jennifer - I'm sorry but I have to say, Duh? Why not call the company that you are bonded with right now? If your commission is about to expire then I imagine that you had to take a class and a test and your mailbox has been crammed with junk mail from a zillion companies wanting your business. Am I missing something??? Sorry if I am!!!!
