signing husband and wife at 2 different times of day

Because of their work schedule, they want me to come to their house at 2 different times on the same day. Once for the husband to sign and then again when the wife gets home. What is your opinion on doing that? Should I make them be there at the same time?

As long as they provide proper ID and signed on the same day its not an issue.

Are you getting paid for two separate signings? If the answer is yes - no problem, just have separate certificates for each of them. If the answer is no - then I would explain to the borrower that you have only been contracted to come out one time.

This happens occasionally, and it's not a problem to do. Just advise your ss of the situation and they should pay you for the additional signing trip.
