I have a toner kit for my 3015; Can I use...
the same, and refill my laserjet 1000 toner?
Anybody has done this? Or I have to purchase the specific one.
Thank you.

Pretty sure that won't work.

Check the part number of the toner (at the website). Different printers use different cartridges (and hold different amount of charge), but may use the same toner composition.

Thats exactly the question Paul, if it is the same toner composition. I know its not the same part number since my 3015 uses HP-Q2612A and the Laserjet 1000 has a different toner number.

Re: Paul
That's the cartridge number. You need to go to a toner refill website and see if the bulk toner they sell for the two different printers have the same part number. Many different printers use the same "bottle" of toner, and have different cartridge numbers.

i really didn't want to go on as anonymous but I can't change it except for my whole name. Dumb. Anyway, how do you do the refill of your 3015, I have one and need to fill with toner but have never done this. TIA

Assuming you have the toner, the process is to just burn or drill a hole in it and fill it up, then tape it shut put it back into the machine...I use tonerkits.com
